To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)

  • use our appointment request form
  • phone us on 01726 812019, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:30pm

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine appointments

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days

  • use our appointment request form Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
  • phone us on 01726 812019, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
  • visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm

All Nurse / Health Care Assistant appointments do NOT require using the appointment request form, please telephone or call into Reception, timings as above.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email.

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If you need help when we are closed

If the situation is an emergency or life threatening, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

For urgent medical advice between 6.30pm and 8.30am weekdays, or during weekends and Bank Holidays, use NHS 111.

For children under 5 phone 111.

For people aged 5 and over go to the 111.nhs.uk website.

We work with Lostwithiel and Fowey River Practice and between the 3 surgeries, known as The Three Harbours offer evening routine appointments to see a GP until 8pm and Saturday and Sundays with a GP.  Please contact us by phone for details on how to book an evening or Saturday appointment.

If you need help with your appointment

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
  • If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
  • If you need an interpreter.
  • If you have any other access or communication needs.

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10.00am on 01726 812019.
