Research practice

Middleway Surgery has recently become a member practice of the Clinical Research Network part of the National Institute for Health Research (NHS).

The GP lead for Research is Dr P Daza who joined the Practice in October 2018. Research Activities – are identified by CQC as a quality marker.  The experience of patients recruited into primary care studies is often reflected very positively.  Published evidence has confirmed that patients registered with GP research practices have better health outcomes compared to non-research GP practices.
